These terms cover the researchMTR platform, the WordPress plugin, subscriptions and billing, and AI-generated content. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
Last updated: September 4, 2026
Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account, installing the WordPress plugin, or otherwise accessing researchMTR ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the accompanying Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. The service
What researchMTR provides
researchMTR is an AI-assisted SEO research and content platform, including keyword research, content planning and generation, technical SEO tooling, Google Search Console integration, and a WordPress plugin that connects your WordPress site to these workflows. Features may be added, changed, or removed over time as the Service evolves.
3. Accounts and responsibilities
Your account
- You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and plugin API key/secret.
- You're responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
- You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service.
4. Acceptable use
What you agree not to do
You agree not to: use the Service to violate any law or third party's rights; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts; interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service; use the Service to generate or publish unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content; or circumvent usage limits, billing, or plan restrictions.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Plans, wallet, and payments
Some features require a paid subscription or wallet balance, billed through our payment processor, Flutterwave. Fees are described at the point of purchase and, unless stated otherwise, are non-refundable once usage has occurred. We may change pricing or plan features with reasonable advance notice. You're responsible for keeping payment information current; failure to pay may result in suspension of paid features.
6. AI-generated content
Understanding AI output
Keyword suggestions, content briefs, and articles produced through the Service are generated with the assistance of third-party AI models (including Google Gemini, OpenAI, and Anthropic). AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, and researchMTR does not guarantee its factual correctness, originality, or fitness for any particular purpose. You're responsible for reviewing, editing, and fact-checking AI-generated content before publishing or relying on it, including content published to your WordPress site through the plugin.
7. Your content and intellectual property
Ownership
You retain ownership of the domains, keywords, briefs, and content you submit to or generate through the Service. You grant researchMTR a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service (including sending it to AI processors as described in the Privacy Policy). The researchMTR platform, branding, and underlying software remain our property or that of our licensors.
8. WordPress plugin
Plugin-specific terms
The WordPress plugin connects your WordPress installation to your researchMTR account using a plugin key and secret. You're responsible for keeping these credentials secure and for reviewing content before it's published to your site, particularly when using draft-first workflows. researchMTR is not responsible for content published automatically if you've configured the plugin to publish without review.
9. Termination
Ending your account
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, pose a security risk, or remain unpaid after a reasonable notice period. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, though certain provisions (billing obligations, intellectual property, limitation of liability) survive termination.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Service provided "as is"
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, researchMTR is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from AI-generated content, third-party processor outages, or use of the Service in violation of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Governing law
Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which researchMTR is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable local consumer protection law.
12. Changes to these terms
Updates over time
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above; continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
